AXIS – Perinatal Social Determinants of Child Mental Health

Goal: To facilitate interdisciplinary and inter-institutional collaboration for research on perinatal social factors that influence child mental health from a developmental and intergenerational perspective.

Examples of projects:

  • Multidisciplinary meetings on early measurement (0-2 years) of indicators of mental health problems in children;
  • Dissemination of information on the Quebec Cohort project and solicitation of collaborations;
  • Developed a unifying project as part of a 3-generation study with ELDEQ and EJNQ families.

Axis Director: Dr. Isabel Fortier

Objective: To support the development of tools to optimize the quality and use of research data.

Examples of projects:

  • Catalog documenting the specifications and variables collected by the studies associated with the network;
  • List of recommended tools (questionnaires, measures, etc.) for data collection ;
  • Tools (best practice guides, software, etc.) to facilitate data collection, management, and sharing.
