All members are encouraged to collaborate in the activities of several strategic axes in order to foster interdisciplinary research projects. The scientific activities of the network are divided into the following axes:

• Social determinants of child physical health;
• Biological determinants of children’s physical health;
• Social Determinants of Child Mental Health;
• Biological determinants of child mental health.
• Development of infrastructures and common research platforms

Physical health is defined as the child’s cardiopulmonary, metabolic and musculoskeletal health. The network focuses on pediatric cardiopulmonary, metabolic and musculoskeletal diseases.

Mental health is defined as a child’s emotional, cognitive, social/relational development. The network focuses on pediatric neurodevelopmental, emotional, cognitive, social/relational disorders.
